 Welcome to Autism Directions!

This website is a collection of important information and services provided for families navigating thru this spectrum disorder we call Autism.   We have experienced and battled behaviors, language difficulties and fights with the school district to support our kids, aven due process hearings.  We have been there and done it already in this never changing maze.

Living in Southern California, we have found a need for services to support non verbal or less verbal students, students with an expressive language disorder, and parents not sure of what is needed for their kids to strive for independence.  IEP meetings and services to get our kids to be able to thrive is not a given in our community.  Most parents have to fight for proper support and services for their children.

Today we provide Advocacy and a new service called the Rapid Prompting Method or RPM.   RPM will help students learn in a new way because most Autistic kids cannot go to the mainstream after school programs or tutoring centers.
